In life, it is my understanding that humans must find strength to move forward and become something. How it is that we find our strength, can come in many different ways. For many, it's music that keeps us moving forward. All different types of music can bring out different emotions and feelings for individuals. Music, evidently, gives people the motivation to move on through the messages in lyrics and the feeling and passion artists put into it. There are so many different genres of music, and preferences by people all around the world. However, it holds true that music really does save lives. Through many cases, people with psychological disorders, will develop the need for music to feel better about themselves, and certainly can change them. People who are suicidal, often turn to music to get the sense of uplifting thoughts to move forward. For me and anyone else, it's no different. Even if it's just one day that we're feeling down, we will put on our headphones and listen to music to clear our minds of stress. I believe that without music, so many more people would be lost and without motivation. Whether it be at the gym working out to move faster, or playing hard music in jails to limit anger in prisoners, all music has a purpose. The reason people want to make a difference is because they know things can be better, and with music we can gather the strength to make that difference. It's important to understand the effects that music has on the world all together and humans individually. One of my favorite bands The Used, have some of the most emotional lyrics that bring out the best in me. I have listened for years, and it makes me stronger. The music and lyrics give me the strength to want to make a difference in myself and the world around me. This is just some of the proof that humans almost need music in their lives, to really feel things more. The passion that is put into music, reflects onto the people listening, becoming one of the most powerful outlets in life. In the wise words of Bert McCracken, "Music really DOES save lives."
